This publication presents the results of research of the staff of the Department of General and Ethnic Sociology and the Laboratory of Sociological Research of the Institute of Social and Philosophical Sciences and Mass Communications of KFU for the period from 2012 to 2015 . The choice of research areas is predetermined by their social significance for Tatarstan society . The focus of researchers is the socio-cultural space of the Republic of Tatarstan, problem areas associated with the reproduction of the population of the region, interethnic and interfaith relations, as well as everyday social practices of its inhabitants.
