This collection continues the series of inter-university compilations titled "Applied Problems of Strength and Plasticity" and marks the 53rd volume in this series. It is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Professor A.G. Ugodchikov, the founder of the Nizhny Novgorod scientific school of mechanics and strength, and the editor of this collective work. Volume 53 features articles from the professor's students and colleagues, encompassing: scientific reviews of established research directions; original papers addressing theoretical and applied problems in solid mechanics under multifactorial high-parameter influences of various physical natures, along with methods for their numerical implementation; and solutions to specific scientific and engineering challenges. The thematic focus of the articles includes: the application of complex potentials and boundary-time elements for solving three-dimensional static and dynamic problems in the theory of elasticity and viscoelasticity; moment dynamics of solid deformable bodies; assessment of the resource and reliability of engineering structures; equations of state and experimental methods for determining parameters of thermoviscoelastic deformation; optimization of mechanical systems; numerical modeling of quasistatic and dynamic processes in thermoplastic deformation of structures; and strength and failure under high-parameter static and dynamic loads.
