When several years ago I wrote the “Athonite Diary” containing the teachings of Father Paisius, I could not even imagine how huge its circulation would be. The size of the circulation indicates that the teachings of the elder are accepted by both religious people and non-religious people. As a result of those small efforts, I now feel the deepest satisfaction. Then, acting as an uninvited secretary, I presented the Athonite word of the great elder to the thirsty people. The publication of the “Athos Diary” contributed to the even greater glorification of Father Paisius and the increase in the number of visitors to his cell Panaguda, which tired the elder. But there was a decree from God that Father Paisius should lead the people to the pastures of Orthodoxy, that is, to life according to Christ, which, as we know, requires heroism, devotion to Church Tradition and renunciation of the unnecessary benefits of civilization. Today, six years later, I present to the reader the book “Archondarik under the open sky”, which is nothing more than the second issue of the “Athos Diary”.
