Many of our compatriots today are flowing under the gracious protection of the Orthodox Church. From this life-giving source, Holy Orthodoxy, the Russian people have always drawn strength to overcome turmoil and disorder. People of all ages - from infants to pensioners - receive Holy Baptism in our churches. But often this happens formally, without realizing the importance and significance of this saving Sacrament. By publishing this brochure, we hope to answer numerous questions from those wishing to participate in the church rite of Holy Baptism.
