The mechanism and kinetics of layer-spiral growth of crystals . are considered. The possibility of increasing the growth rate by a factor of ten compared to traditional cultivation rates is shown, without reducing the quality of crystals. This allows not only to reduce the cost of crystal production, but also, more importantly, to obtain especially large crystals needed today for use in power optics.
