This speech was delivered at the celebration of the 175th anniversary of the birth of the composer Conradin Kreutzer on October 30, 1955 in Messkirch, published in 1959 together with the dialogue between the scientist, philologist and teacher “On the Question of Detachment” (From a conversation on country road) (“Zur Erorterung der Gelassenheit” (Aus einern Feidgesprach uber das Denken) op. edition. S. 31–73). A detailed recording of this conversation was made back in 1944-1945, then it was significantly shortened. In the conversation, the issues outlined in the speech in memory of K. Kreutzer are accessible, but declarative, without specifying the properties of meaningful thinking, and are worked out in more detail and depth.
