The proposed book by Archpriest Alexander Geronimus (1945-2007) is based on audio recordings of lectures he gave at the Theological and Pedagogical Courses in the Name of the Church. Thaddeus, Archbishop of Tver. Father always paid special attention to the topic of Great Lent. In accordance with his deep vision of the unity of the entire Church Tradition, he pointed out the sound of the same themes in Lenten services, and in the dogmatic foundations of Orthodoxy, and in the personal life of a Christian, and in the life of the entire Church.
