The textbook is devoted to the study of the problem of historical memory and culture. The purpose of the publication is to analyze this problem. The students were given a theoretical task - the study of the category of "historical memory", the identification and justification of mechanisms for the formation of historical memory, ways of its transformation. Also, students performed an information and local lore task to expand knowledge on the history of their native land .. Tasks defined the structure of the publication, which consists of 2 chapters. The first chapter includes materials of scientific research on the theory of such concepts as historical memory, ecology of culture, ecology of historical memory, ecology of personality, ecological psychology. The second chapter presents works reflecting the results of scientific research on the topic of lost and restored monuments of the Tver land .. The materials of the book can be used as a teaching aid in classes on history, cultural studies, philosophy, sociology and political science, psychology and pedagogy, as well as in the framework of extracurricular educational work and independent research activities of students.
