Methods are presented in the development, allowing to conduct empirical research on the definition of types of consciousness ("contemplative" , "Actually" , "Critical" CM "indefinite") and types of contemplation ("contemplative laziness" , Contemplative sleep , "Active Contemplation" , and also identify the descriptors of contemplation as a mental phenomenon. Methods are developed in the methodological field of the socio-communicative paradigm of psychology , defining consciousness as the main problem and subject of psychological science and proposing a two-factor theory of consciousness in the logic of which the traditional for domestic psychology "principle of unity of consciousness and activity" is supplemented by the triad "consciousness - activity - contemplation" and contemplation is considered as additional to the activity category of psychology. The materials presented in this edition are posted on the website in the section "Methodological developments" (SNCPS, www. sncps. ru). For bachelors and masters studying the course "Psychology of consciousness", as well as postgraduate psychologists and teachers of psychological disciplines . Publication supported by WGNF, project No. 120600595.
