This manual is intended for students of I, II, III courses of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Culture and Arts studying in direction 44. 03. 05 Pedagogical education (with two training profiles): foreign languages (English and German; English and French) . The purpose of this manual is to provide students with modern practical materials for training in the following sections of OBOR: "Practical Phonetics", "Practice of Oral and Written Speech", "Country Studies and Linguistics" . A practice-oriented approach to writing tasks will allow students to improve phonetic, lexical and grammatical skills, as well as the skills of such productive and receptive types of speech activities as listening, speaking and reading. The structure of the organization of the book and the tasks that make up this manual allow it to be used both for various forms of work in the audience, and for the implementation of independently organized work on listening. One of the features of this manual is the possibility of its use as a workshop for working with a lingaphone room , which will allow the use of various forms of broadcasting audio sources for the purpose of organizing group, pair and individual work of students within the framework of the training course "Practical Phonetics" and "Practices of oral and written speech" . Of particular practical interest is the possibility of using the lingaphone room "Dialogue M-1" for switching jobs of students for pair work and pronouncing the material studied by students with self-auditing , that allows you to most effectively solve the problems of improving listening and speaking skills. The authors hope that the manual will also be interesting for those who independently build their own educational trajectory within the framework of mastering the skills and abilities of foreign language speech outside the composition of students of foreign language competence within professional education.
