The seventh volume includes works written by M. Bitter in 1906-1907. Of these, the following were included in previous collections of the writer's works: "In America", "My Interviews", "Soldiers", "Comrade!", "January 9th", "Mother" These works have been repeatedly edited by M. Bitter. Some of them were last edited by the writer when preparing a collection of essays in the edition of the Book, 1923-1927. The remaining three works of the seventh volume - "Charlie Man", "Message to Space", "[As I first heard about Garibaldi]" - are included in the collection of works for the first time.
