Vladimir Arkadyevich Gandelsman (p. 1948) one of the brightest living poets, a brilliant translator. Author of two dozen collections of poems published in Russia and the United States, winner of many poetry awards: "Liberty" (2008), Russian Prize (2008), "Moscow Account" (2011), "Anthologia" (2012) . Born and raised in Leningrad . In 1989, he moved to the United States, teaching Russian language and literature.
