The textbook on economic comparatives is one of the first Russian textbooks on this problem. The paper gives a detailed description of the economic system, the subject and method of economic comparatives, the main tools and methods of comparative analysis of economic processes. Pre-industrial, industrial and post-industrial economic systems are revealed . The positive and normative aspect of the comparative economy is analyzed in detail. Special chapters are devoted to national models of the mixed economy of developed countries and options for catching up with the development of developing countries, as well as global problems of modernity. Along with the theoretical material in each topic, teaching materials, basic and additional literature and Internet resources, illustrative material, examples of solving typical problems with answers and collections of tests are given .
