Until now, little was known about the life of Spiridon Kislyakov. Most of the available information was contained in the preacher’s own writings, published during his lifetime - “From what he saw and experienced. Notes of a Russian missionary” (Christian Thought, 1917), “Confession of a Priest before the Church” (K., 1919) and “The Christian Tsar” "(K., 1920), as well as in the fragmentary memoirs of contemporaries. Books were published about. Spiridon and in the West. In the fifties of the last century, several editions of his memoirs were published in French. In 1994, through the efforts of a Catholic monk from Belgium, Anthony Lambrecht, “From What We Seen and Experienced” was also published in German. These publications aroused great interest in scientific Christian circles in the West. However, recently, manuscripts of several fundamental works of Archimandrite Spiridon have been found and are being prepared for publication - [Diary], [From Memoirs], [Reflections on the Gospel] and [Psychological Types]. Publication of memoirs in the magazine "Christian Life" N 2 -10 for 1917 was cut short by revolution.
