The book is devoted to the study of the dynamics of transient and unidentified processes in heavy machines, taking into account the elasticity of the links. The machine, represented as a row, branched or closed chain of discrete masses connected by elastic links, is described by a system of linear differential equations. The solution of differential equations in the case of the angular velocity of the link (engine rotor) is given. Consideration is given to the dynamics of mechanisms in the presence of gaps in the joints. To bring theoretical research closer to design practice, it is shown that it is possible to analyze differential equations of dynamics of machines with elastic links using analog electronic computing devices.
