By the method of density functional (B3LYP) using the basis 6-31G**, calculations of MS metallosulfide complexes (M Cu, Zn, Ni) with 4-penten-2-in-1-ol molecules modeling dimethyl (isopropenylethyl), carbinol is an effective fleet agent for the enrichment of non-ferrous metals . The difference in the mechanisms of adsorption of vinylacetylene and aliphatic alcohols is shown, depending on the type of metallosulfide . The established fact can be taken into account in flotation of mixed ores for selective production of metals.
