The work, in fact, is a monograph on a topic little studied by ethnographers. After this work A. A. Popov in the scientific literature did not appear serious works devoted to weaving and weaving in the Siberian peoples. It should be noted that the author himself pointed to an acute lack of factual material. The Kunstkamera collections contain tools of weaving and weaving, but they remain silent witnesses to the past without the evidence that folk masters could provide. In the mid-twentieth century, however, they were few in number. Thus, the work of A. A. Popova remains a unique collection of factual material, which is in demand not only by ethnographers, but also by archaeologists, museum employees, representatives of national and cultural centers of the Siberian peoples, reenactors, etc. d.
