Training Manual . M. : MADA, 2013. 136 s. The manual describes the basic ideas about the nature of frictional interaction and wear of rubbing bodies, the basics of lubrication. Emphasis is placed on finding an internal connection between solids, fluid (lubricating medium) and the surrounding atmosphere. Conditions for trouble-free operation of friction nodes are formulated. Existing methods of testing friction materials and technological methods aimed at increasing the wear resistance and efficiency of using friction nodes are considered. The training manual is intended for students of mechanical specialties of universities and students of advanced training courses studying the course "Tribotechnica" .
