The book presents an original method for calculating the details of complex configuration machines, based on studies of the moments of cross sectional deplanation. Experimentally substantiated new criteria of strength for complex parts of machines and given formulas for determining voltage concentration coefficients. For parts that transmit forces through friction contacts, the stability of these contacts is investigated by the dispersion of stresses in the zones offering them. The book discusses the features of calculating shock systems with complex configuration and gives promising directions for the use of the proposed calculation methods.
