This book addresses a highly relevant fundamental issue: the theoretical explanation of the patterns underlying the evolutionary formation of the recently discovered structure of orbital-rotational synchronisms among several large bodies in the Solar System. It takes into account key influencing factors such as gravitational and magnetic moments, tidal effects, and the long-term evolution of orbits. Analytical results are complemented by numerical calculations performed on computers. Significant attention is given to the analysis of the rotations of the Moon, Venus, and Mercury. The extreme properties of resonant movements of celestial bodies are also discussed. This monograph is intended for specialists in the fields of nonlinear dynamics, astrodynamics, space mechanics, and celestial mechanics, as well as for graduate students and undergraduates in related disciplines.
