The publication of collections under the general title . has been undertaken Collections are compiled from monographic articles-reviews devoted to the most important and interesting issues of organic chemistry . The collections produced do not duplicate a similar translated edition issued under the general title . However, the editors believe that the topics of some articles of this edition, of significant interest to the Soviet reader, can be included in the topics of our collections. At the same time, special attention will be paid to the work of domestic chemists, since often these works are not sufficiently covered in foreign publications. The editorial board is considered with the possibility of some shortcomings and errors, so all comments and indications of omissions will be accepted with deep gratitude.
