The discipline program "Non-cooperative games in economics" is drawn up in accordance with the requirements (federal component) for the mandatory minimum content and level of training of a graduate specialist (bachelor , Master's degree) in the cycle "General humanitarian and socio-economic disciplines" of state educational standards of higher professional education of the second generation , and requirements, NFPC for new and upgraded training courses , developed within the framework of the program "Improving the teaching of socio-economic disciplines in universities" of the Innovation Project for the Development of Education . This course of lectures is intended for senior students, masters and graduate students studying in the specialties "Economics" and "Applied Mathematics". The course is devoted to the application of game theory to the analysis of current economic problems. The focus is on the following topics: Models of imperfect competition. Non-cooperative substantiation of the concept of competitive equilibrium Evolutionary game theory and description of economic behavior Recurring games and cooperative behavior . Models of organization of tax inspection . All these trends are popular in modern theoretical economics. They are far from complete and promising for those who would like to apply their mathematical qualifications to research interesting economic problems. They also share relevance from the point of view of the development of transition economies and, specifically, Russia.
