The modern theory of chemistry is physical chemistry. The main disadvantage of the presentation of chemistry in the initial courses is an attempt to compare the chemical properties of the substance only with the structure of the reagent molecules and the location of their energy levels. The article attempts to use the main results of chemical thermodynamics and introduce the concept of entropy at the initial stages of studying chemistry.
