The textbook contains material on the chemistry of the main classes of nitrogen-containing organic compounds studied in the courses "Organic chemistry", read to students of the 2nd year of specialties "Chemistry" and "Biology", with the exception of chemistry of heterocyclic compounds and amino acids .. The last two topics are covered in separate manuals. The presentation of the material in both sequence and volume is somewhat different from the programs in the above courses, and therefore the manual is intended as an additional one and is recommended for students studying organic chemistry. The manual can also be useful in preparing for the entrance exam to graduate school and passing the candidate minimum in the specialty "Organic chemistry"
