Offered to students of the 1st year, this methodological manual does not claim to be a consistent statement of the basics of thermodynamics - this has already been done in the textbook "General Chemistry". According to the authors, the proposed development will allow a new look at some of the problems of thermodynamics and with the help of specific examples to tell in more detail about those aspects of this discipline that, due to limited volume, could not enter the textbook. The authors tried quite strictly and at the same time it is possible to state some questions of chemical thermodynamics - so that 'behind the forest of formulas' the chemical problem itself is not lost. The authors also tried to say a few words about the thermodynamics of non-equilibrium processes - a discipline that combines classical (equilibrium) thermodynamics and chemical kinetics.
