Ivanova includes works devoted to the experience of presenting the culture of a certain society as a set of systems of signs (systems of semiotic systems) and each of the types of arts (theatre, cinema, fine arts) as a special system. Similarities between these sign systems and language. are being studied. Methods (in particular, installation) common to different systems of aesthetic signs are considered. The exposition is based on the history of Russian, European and ancient Eastern art .. The correlation of signs of material and spiritual culture, the involvement of natural symbols in the sphere of culture and science and the evolution of these semiotic systems are studied.
