The monograph is a description of the semiotic world and culture of a small Kamchatka nation - the Alluthorians, through the prism of folklore texts and language structure. This monograph is the first in scientific practice experience of a comprehensive description of the allutorian language, including all the main sections of grammar, a fairly complete dictionary and a representative collection of texts. The first part is devoted to allutor folklore . It contains texts with subscripted translation in the form of grammatical glosses and their literary translations. The second part presents a description of phonetics, morphology and syntax of the allutorian language .. In the section “Fonetics” the inventory of backgrounds and phonemes and the rhythmic-syllabic structure of wordforms are considered, special attention is paid to extremely diverse phonetic processes. The section “Morphology” describes in the most detail the word change of the verb, which is characterized by special complexity and richness. A new description of the polypersonal conjugation of the allutor verb is proposed, allowing to dispel the myth about the chaotic and inexplicable system of morphological marking in this language. The morphology of adjectives, nouns and pronouns. is also described. Section “Syntax” highlights the basic phenomena of the structure of the proposal. The third part contains an allutor-Russian dictionary consisting of a root dictionary and an affix dictionary. The book is intended for a wide range of readers interested in the folklore of the Paleo-Asian peoples, their languages and culture.
