The gas station was like a pair of gas pumps, a shabby little shop with a dimly lit window. Tolik turned off the engine and got out, shivering from the cold. The rain seemed to be pouring with redoubled force, breaking through his thin jacket. There was no one in the store except the sleepy sales guy. Tolik paid for the gas and was about to leave when he suddenly noticed a strange guy standing by the window. Tall, thin, wearing a long black cloak, he looked more like a movie villain than a random traveler. The man turned around, and Tolik shuddered. The stranger's face was as if carved from stone - sharp features, deep-set eyes, burning with an unhealthy shine. “I don’t recommend driving along this road at night,” the stranger said hoarsely, without taking his heavy gaze off Tolik. — It’s unclean here.
