A. V. Suvorov was a unique person for his time. He became a great commander thanks only to his talent and character. “Servant to the king, father to the soldiers” - the soldiers loved him, but considered him an eccentric. Suvorov avoided comfort, led a bivouac life, slept on hay, wore the lightest clothes even in the cold, did not walk, but ran, did not ride, but galloped, and was constantly on the move. During his long military career, the Generalissimo was never defeated.
