Historical and philosophical poem, which tells about one night that an elderly writer spent in the presence of the reaper of human souls - death. The death that came after his life, represented here in the role of a young girl, whose strength, however, is clearly felt, forcing the man to see the true “monumentality of her fragile figure.” After much persuasion, the creator makes a bet with death, the condition of which is to write a story in one night that can surprise even those who have lived in this world since the beginning of time. During the writing process, the writer asks the girl to talk to him so that he does not fall asleep during the writing process, since his age no longer allows him to work in silence all night. Death agrees to answer three questions, and from that moment their involuntary “date” begins.
