The educational publication deals with the main issues of cultural studies, including the study of the structure, functions and concrete-historical forms of culture .. The workshop contains tasks of varying degrees of complexity: to test knowledge on the history of world culture and to develop the ability to interpret cultural phenomena from the standpoint of modern cultural studies. Each topic contains questions for discussion at a practical lesson, analytical and test tasks, topics for self-control and self-training. To form a terminological culture, a dictionary of concepts and terms (glossary) and personalities . is proposed in the manual. The workshop is intended for students in higher education programs: bachelor's degree.
