The manual presents the characteristics of the geopolitical and ethno-cultural space of the Arctic , Major milestones in the history of international relations and foreign policy of the Arctic and Arctic countries , strategic priorities and interests of the countries of the circumpolar world in the Arctic at the present stage are indicated. Special attention is paid to the analysis of EU policy in the Arctic. Methodical equipment of the training course includes the topics of practical classes, the most significant documentary sources, a list of literature, a glossary, control questions and tasks for independent work, test tasks for intermediate and final certification of students . It is intended for students of higher educational institutions studying in the areas of training "Foreign Regional Studies" and "International Relations" and anyone interested in the development of international relations in the Arctic .
