This collection includes two works by Friedrich Engels “Anti-Dhring” and “Dialectics of Nature”. "Anti-Dhring" became one of the fundamental works in Soviet philosophy It consists of three parts: in the first, Engels reflects on the rivalry between materialistic philosophy and idealistic philosophy, in the second, he develops Marx’s economic theory, and in the third, he devotes himself to socialism as the result of the development of society. In his Dialectics of Nature, Engels set the task of generalizing the achievements in the field of natural science and finding the dialectical laws that govern the natural course of nature.
