"The Peasant Question in France and Germany" - an article by the famous German philosopher, one of the founders of Marxism Friedrich Engels Friedrich Engels, 1820 1895. In this work, the author writes about how the development of capitalism and large-scale industry affects the lives of peasants, and about what they are offered by French and German socialists. He conducts a comparative analysis of the programs of the socialist parties of Germany and France. Friedrich Engels was known not only in Europe, but also in the Russian Empire. Although he did not live to see the October Revolution, long before it he supported the Russian revolutionary movement and the struggle against tsarism.
