The manual is compiled on the basis of the work program (2015 g. ), the current curriculum and in accordance with the requirements of the GEF VO specialty 31. 05. 02. - Pediatrics . The textbook in brief, accessible language describes modern ideas about the central nervous system with a description of the practical application of knowledge within the competences of the future specialist. The publication presents theoretical issues of the general physiology of the central nervous system, methods of studying reflexes and their clinical significance, features of the structure, functioning and blood supply of the central nervous system in children. Interview questions, examples of test tasks and situational tasks, a list of main and additional literature, questions for self-control of knowledge, as well as standards of answers to tests and situational tasks.
