The monograph is devoted to physical and electrodynamic methods of studying multilayer structures. The eighth part of the monograph describes the spatial distribution of the amplitudes of external and internal waves in a limited multilayer structure with periodic heterogeneity of the meander type. Using the method of step-by-step algorithm, the propagation of one-dimensional and electromagnetic waves, including in dissipative medium, is considered. The distribution of the amplitudes of the waves of direct and reverse directions when changing the coordinate or number of the layer of the structure, the average wave number, dielectric permeability and conductivity . is studied. Secondary Modulation Effect . Several modes and distributions have been identified in the spatial modulation pattern. The dependence of complex wave number and admittans on conductivity. The frequency dependences of amplitudes, reflecting and skipping properties of the structure. The monograph will be useful for students and graduate students of physical specialties of universities and institutes, as well as teachers, engineers and researchers in the field of technical sciences .
