The third volume of the Dictionary of the Language of Russian Poetry of the 20th Century contains about 7,000 articles. Each of the articles is a collection of verse lines from the sources of the Dictionary the works of ten outstanding poets of the Silver Age: Annensky, A. by A. Block, C. Esenina, M. Kuzmina, O. Mandelstam, B. Mayakowski, B. Pasternak, W. Khlebnikova, M. Flowering. In the articles, these lines are chronologically ordered: they provide an opportunity to judge both the rhythm of the environment of the capital word, and the “acquisitions of meaning” in it, and the history of the word in the poetic language of the era. All lines-contexts are accompanied by ciphers; in the conditional article, respectively: Ann909, Ahm912, AB914, Es915, Kuz916, OM918, M920, P921, Hl921, Cv935. If necessary, the title forms of articles and contexts are given litters and a brief comment. The dictionary demonstrates the diversity and expressiveness of the language of poetry and the “artistic memory” of its words. Enriching our aesthetic horizons, the Dictionary helps to clarify the impressions of long-favored lines by the reader and to consider their connections with a lot of lesser-known ones. Addressed primarily to a wide range of lovers of poetry, the Dictionary is built in such a way that specialists - culturologists and philologists - will find much new for themselves in its materials.
