Designs of assembly devices and their elements, methods of designing devices and stands, examples of their equipment and tools are considered. The textbook contains typical layouts, which include: the layout of parts, assemblies and assemblies ; scheme of the sequence of assembly, cutting of the junction and docking of aggregates ; sketch projects of assembly devices, cutting and docking stands and equipment for performing connections directly in the assembly device, and equipment for processing the joint in the stand. A brief description of the processes, devices and equipment included in the layout . Recommendations are given for the design of basic and load-bearing elements of assembly devices and stands from standard and normalized nodes and parts. The influence of the design of the product, the method of basing and the type of connection of parts on the layout of the device is shown. Possible methods and means of mechanizing the processes of performing connections directly in the device are shown. The training manual takes into account the new technological processes of assembly, cutting and docking of units used in the aviation industry of the USSR and abroad.
