The name of Janusz Korczak a writer, teacher, public figure has become a symbol of humanism and high moral purity for the Polish people. In his books and articles, Korczak acts as an ardent defender of the rights and interests of children, exposing the falsehoods and injustices surrounding the child in capitalist society. Korczak sees in the child a man with a rich inner world, an artist with a thin impressionable soul, takes him seriously, respects his rights and dignity.
