The manual is a short course of lectures on the material of the school physics program . The lectures cover the following topics: mechanics, molecular kinetic theory, thermodynamics, electricity and magnetism . The purpose of the manual is to strengthen the basic knowledge of first-year students on the basics of physics and prepare students for the perception of material on the physics of the university program. The lectures are based on the principles of:- generalization of the material;- compactness;- accessibility of the presentation of the material;- presentation at a higher level than the school program. Lectures are recommended to students of the first year of technical specialties of the Faculty of Electricity and the Faculty of Ecology, as well as to all students who are not sufficiently prepared to study physics at the university .
