The architectural monuments that are included in our album cover approximately a thousand-year time interval, but these are mature fruits on the tree of the history of Central Asian architecture, whose roots go deep into the earth - not only in the figurative, but also in the literal sense of the word. For archaeological expeditions discover from year to year the remains of structures buried in the earth strata two and three thousand years ago, and those techniques of construction work are already imprinted in them, which in their highest forms determine the qualities of architecture as art. The title of the album "Museum under the open sky" emphasizes that the monuments of architecture are really open to the eye, like huge museum exhibits of different centuries. But things in museums are dead, come to life for visitors either by the radiation of their beauty (if they are works of art), or by the cognitive information contained in them. The monuments of architecture live that full-blooded life, in the thick of which they are included. Whether it be the madrasah of Samarkand Registan , around which crowds of passers-by and streams of cars move , and inside working masters-restorers , whether it is the ancient markets of Bukhara and Khiva , where goods are still on the shelves, Is it a mausoleum in the mountains of Langar? It is as if the earth is full of glory. or, Finally, Cozy , Vine-covered houses of towns and villages of the Fergana Valley , architecture is inextricably linked with people - their deeds and thoughts , Their cares and their leisure. The album, of course, does not aim to highlight the history of architecture of Uzbekistan - this is the topic of solid scholarly work.
