A book by the famous French writer San Antonio (real name Frederick Dar) , Author of numerous detective novels , tells about the investigation of two cases of suicide at the police school of Saint-Cyr - on the Golden Mountain conducted by the San Antonio Police Commissioner and Chief Inspector Alexandre-Benois Berurier. For the purposes of conspiracy, Berurier is enrolled in the staff of this school for the position of teacher of good tone rules and optionally gives a course of lectures, using as a basic manual the Encyclopedia of Secular Rules of 1913 edition . He makes his adjustments to this encyclopedia, which his simple and generous nature suggests to him, and complements it with intimate details from his life.
