The story told in the play is as old as the world and as trivial. In the center of attention of the playwright is a theatrical family duo, the dull idyllicness of which suddenly evaporates with the sharp corners of the love triangle. The prima donna and hostess of the Parisian theater, Esther, is on that crest of beauty, recognition and glory, behind which a period of slow fading inevitably dawns. She adores her husband Floran - the hero-lover, the premiere of "Comedy Frances" Youth bursts into their lives uninvited long-legged guest, aspiring actress Lian, whose timidity and semi-childish angularity quickly replaced by consonant with the new time shamelessness. Esther with dignity retreats before the circumstances pushed by her, so that later, having gathered with previously unknown forces, to return renewed and beautiful - already in a different life.
