The German philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer is a misanthrope, one of the most famous thinkers of irrationalism. Dandi, was fond of mysticism, ideas of the East, the philosophy of his compatriot and predecessor Immanuel Kant admired the ancient Stoics and criticized all his contemporaries; He called the existing world "the worst of all possible worlds", for which he received the nickname "the philosopher of pessimism". "The concept of everyday wisdom means here the art of spending one's life as pleasant and happier as possible: it will therefore be an instruction in a happy existence. The question arises whether human life corresponds to the concept of such an existence; my philosophy, as is known, answers this question in the negative, therefore, the reasoning here is based to a certain extent on a compromise. I can recall only one work written with the same purpose as the proposed aphorisms, namely Cardano's instructive book "On the Benefits One Can Learn from Misery" . However, the sages of all times have always said the same thing, and the fools, who have always made up the majority, have always done the same thing just the opposite; this will continue to be the case.
