The fourteenth volume includes works written by M. Bitter in 1912-1923. Among them, the following were included in the previous collections of works of the writer: “Master”, “M.” M. Kotsyubinsky", "Theft", "Stories", "Fire", "Lion Tolstoy", "About S. A. Tolstoy" . These works have been repeatedly edited by M. Bitter. Most of them the writer edited in the preparation of the collection of works in the edition of the Book of 1923-1927 .. The remaining works of the fourteenth volume are included in the collection of works for the first time. With few exceptions, these works published in the periodical press, M.
