This is a very strange world.... It is inhabited by different races: maratas, canims, glaciers, insectivores, and even descendants of Roman legionaries. Here every inhabitant in his childhood receives a supernatural ally a fury of water or fire or earth or air. Thanks to these creatures, the peoples of the powerful Alan Empire lived for centuries without strife and together resisted external enemies. But now the supreme power has weakened, the nobility is mired in quarrels and intrigues, and the country is steadily sliding into civil war. The paradox is that the only person who can challenge the impending disaster is the one who does not have any magical talents, and therefore is not able to enlist the support of the spirits of the elements - a young shepherd from the harsh northern wilderness.
