The present volume of the collection of Russian-language works by Vladimir Nabokov (1899–1977) is devoted to the period of 1926 . first gender in 1930. when his first novels were published: "The Mother" (1926) , The King , lady, jack (1928), "The Defense of Luzhin" (1930) , as well as stories and poems , not included in the lifetime compilations, The Man from the USSR (1927) and other works , Among them is the translation of Tennyson's poem "In Memoriam" (1926). Review of M. Nachman-Acharya" (1928) and a small postscript note about Dovid Knuth's poems (1928). Here for the first time presented a full review of "Irina Odoevtseva . "Isolda" (1929). In all possible cases, the texts are checked against the originals, accompanied by detailed notes .
