Atlas-determinator describes the method of determining the 25 most dangerous species for aviation birds by their macro-n microstructural fragments, indicates the ranges, gives a description of their appearance and provides a complete list of aircraft-hazardous bird fauna of the USSR. Particular attention is paid to the diagnosis of feather fragments, which are most often found as bird remnants in collisions with aircraft and helicopters.
