It is often thought that Einstein’s ideas are not available to those who do not study physics or mathematics specifically. In this book, Einstein's main results are presented in a form accessible to any educated person, if he wants to read this book thoughtfully and slowly. The author deliberately does not go into detail, the book describes Einstein's ideas in the historical sequence in which they developed, shows how with inexorable inevitability Einstein rose to higher levels of abstract thinking. The exposition is conducted in a broad historical and philosophical perspective and concentrates around the main ideas of Einstein.
