The collection presents the results of research on the main areas of study of fungi and lichens in the regions of the Russian Federation and neighboring states. Questions on molecular systematics and biosystematics, ecological physiology and biochemistry of fungi and lichens . The diversity, ecology, structure and functions of complexes of fungi and lichens of forest communities are considered. The issues of identification of rare species of fungi and lichens and their protection are separately touched upon. The influence of anthropogenic influences on the spread of fungi and lichens in forests and non-forest objects of different origin and anthropogenic use is considered. Issues of epiphytosis and invasion of fungi and ways to limit their harmfulness are covered. Forestry, chemical and biological methods to limit the occurrence and development of the mass distribution of pathogenic fungi are considered. Materials on food and medicinal mushroom resources are presented.
